The Process
Before your appointment, we’ll ask you to shave the area and avoid sun exposure to keep your skin safe and ready for treatment. During your session, the skin is carefully cooled with ice before and after to maximize comfort and safety. Treatments are quick, gentle, and surprisingly easy, most appointments are over before you know it. You may experience mild warmth or redness afterward, which is completely normal and typically fades quickly. Each session targets the hair at the root, helping slow regrowth over time for smoother, clearer skin with fewer ingrowns and irritation.
Before your IPL appointment, we recommend avoiding retinols, heavy exfoliants, and active skincare for at least two weeks, as well as avoiding sun exposure before and after treatment to protect your skin. During your session, pulses of light are gently passed over the treatment area to target redness, pigmentation, and uneven tone. Sensations are minimal and often described as a quick, light prickle. We finish every treatment with a soothing cooling mask to calm the skin, and then you’re on your way, refreshed, glowing, and with no downtime.
